Kip Moore Won't Post Shirtless Photos Just to Get Followers

September 28, 2018

One of the best parts about social media is seeing what my favorite country stars are up to. How would I know about Kip Moore doing impromptu shows, or having dinner with some fans if he didn't post the videos? But here's something I didn't know about Kip.  He doesn't casually put things online just to get publicity. He's very serious about his message. It has to be real, and he hates it when other artists try to be someone they're not.

Quote, "I see people doing a lot of things on social media that are not really in their character but they're trying so hard to be like, 'Look at me.' I don’t think that equates to a real fanbase. If I take a morning selfie with my shirt off and I show my physique and do this sexy face to the camera, am I going to gain more followers? Yeah, maybe I'll get some teenybopper followers, but I don't think that equates to anything real and tangible. If you're going to gain people that way, I think you essentially cheapen it in the long run."
