PT Paul Thomas

Join PT weekday mornings 6a-10a with the Wolf Wake Up Crew, with Greg and Mandy. Plus, PT brings you the best in local and regional country during Hometown Country on Sunday evenings at 8pm.

A hometown Minnesota boy, Paul Thomas (aka “PT”) grew up in Bloomington but crossed the border to attend college at UW-Madison.  “All of my professional sports affiliations are MINNESOTA teams and I root for the Gophers against anyone EXCEPT my alma mater, in that case I’ve got to cheer for Bucky Badger!!”  PT’s passion for giving back to the community is evident in his 10+ years of volunteer work as a youth hockey coach with the Bloomington Jefferson program as well as his emcee work for various other charitable causes.  He also founded the Midwest Country Music Organization a 501c3 non-profit to help further develop country music in the Midwest.  Quite possibly his strongest passion though is in mental health awareness & suicide prevention as he is the founding board member of the LIVIN Foundation.  Their organization created a camp for families affected by a loss by suicide & has partnered with numerous other non-profits to bring exposure to the topic.  Furthermore, PT has been a speaker at various schools & community engagements where he has told his story of losing his father to suicide, the lasting impression that has had on his life, and how he has tried to create a positive movement from a tragic life experience.
